Job Overview:

We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth transactions at the checkout counter. If you have strong communication skills, enjoy working with people, and have a passion for delivering exceptional service, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers as they enter the store and assist them with any inquiries.
• Scan and process customer purchases accurately and efficiently.
• Handle cash transactions, including giving change and issuing receipts.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
• Upsell and promote store products or special offers to customers.
• Resolve customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Cashier or in a customer service role is preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers.
• Excellent phone etiquette and the ability to handle customer inquiries over the phone
• Basic math skills to handle cash transactions accurately.
• Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of technical sales or wireless sales is a plus.
• Multilingual abilities are an asset.
