STEAM: Diffusion Experiment

Everyone’s invited to come and explore the world around you through Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) with your South Branch Library! Explore the exciting world of STEAM with a fun, hands-on activity that encourages curiosity, creativity, and discovery. This session is all about diffusion, which is the process of particles naturally spreading from an area where they are crowded together to an area where they have more space. Through a colorful experiment, kids will see diffusion in action and discover how it plays an important role in everything from nature to the human body. Come learn, experiment, and have fun as we explore the science behind this amazing everyday phenomenon!
