Saturday Matinee

Join your library for great movies and fun during our Saturday Matinee session where we show hit movies from the past and present and geared towards the teen and adult audience. This month, we’ll be showing a 2023 adaptation from the bestselling stories of Auggie and Me made popular by author R.J. Palacio, expanding on characters from the book and film adaptation titled “Wonder.” In this film, struggling to fit in at his new school after being expelled for his treatment of Auggie Pullman, Julian is visited by his grandmother and is transformed by the story of her attempts to escape Nazi-occupied France during World War II. This film is rated PG-13 for some strong violence, thematic material, and language, and has a run time of two hours.
