Family Flix Showing

Kids and parents are invited to join the library for a great mid-morning movie where we show hits from the past and present that are rated no higher than PG. For this session, we’ll show an animated film from 2024 with the voices of Lupita Nyong’o, Pedro Pascal, and Kit Connor, and adapted from the award-winning book by Peter Brown of the same name. In this film, it follows the journey of a robot – ROZZUM unit 7134, “Roz” for short – that is shipwrecked and stranded on an uninhabited island. To survive the harsh environment, Roz bonds with the island’s animals and cares for an orphaned baby goose. This film is rated PG for action/peril and thematic elements and has a run time of 1 hour and 42 minutes.
