Cookie Decorating for Kids

Kids of all ages are invited to decorate a cake-shaped cookie at the library during our Summer Reading Challenge. Pastry chef Tasha Teel, owner of the Cakery in Lubbock, TX, will be showing us how to decorate your cookie based on the book “A Piece of Cake” by LeUyen Pham…who happened to be this year’s Children’s Art + Literacy Festival honoree. And bonus, you can eat your creation once you’re done. This will be a come & and go drop in event with all materials and instructions provided. Come have a tasty time creating something cool at your library!
